I really don't understand why people would not all be at the least agnostic's if not outright atheists

I went to see the movie Philomina it is hard to believe that caring Nuns could treat 14 year olds the way they did back in the sixties

what gives these religious people the right to judge anothers actions?

Well abbel I just think in todays enlightened society most people should want proof that there is such a thing as God or whatever other kind of person who is supposed to have created us.

We don't need to believe the fairytails we were fed when we were young.

why proof? it is about faith, much like marriage.............. how do you prove your love for your OH and vice versa?

and........ the attitudes of nuns and others re unwed mothers etc was not about God, IMO, it was about their own personality traits and lack of tolerance of the rights of others.

Azure I think it is easy to prove you love your husband or vise versa at least it was for me

If he does not make my skin crawl when he touches me I still love him, once my skin crawls I know I don't and move on.
