she's nicer than me,i think i already whined about not being so crazy about that idea either. 

but it's up to the people who run the challenge regularly,imho. 🙂

I think the problem here is that many voters do not recognize TALENT when they see it. I can deal with that because I can look at my photos and SEE that they are absolutely WONDERFUL and AWESOME and GREAT.

Did you KNOW that I ALSO invented the INTERNET???

And the WHEEL. That was ME too.

It may be a little modest in comparison to the INTERNET and the WHEEL, but I was also responsible for the DISCOVERY of CALCULUS. I was writing about this only yesterday.

I also WRITE a REGULAR COLUMN in a well known magazine about the importance of MODESTY. It really IS IMPORTANT in this day and age to remember that MODESTY is a VIRTUE - JUST A LITTLE LESS IMPORTANT THAN THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.

I also invented TIME TRAVEL. THIS IS A SECRET. DON'T TELL ANYONE. But. it's TRUE.

So, really, I am so ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS that I don't need to win a photo competition. I am SECURE in my WONDERFULNESS and my GENIUS.

OH, OH, OH ... I also painted the Mona Lisa. I'm SURE many of you have seen it. The model was pretty ordinary, really ... I had to jazz her up a bit. And, the Sistine Chapel, too. Gee, my back was sore after that, but I'M A HERO AND I SURVIVED.

I WILL SETTLE for a recount, INCLUDING MY INVISIBLE KUDOS, and the prize of TEN MILLION DOLLARS.

My only REAL complaint is those who take the thread so seriously and end up in a slanging match.
