The Carbon Dioxide Tax is a scam anyway. Good to be rid of it.
You obviously don't subscribe the the various international news sites.
The general consensus is that THIS problem has now become THEIR problem.

Odd comment.
I'm not sure what relevence a 'peasant' has to this topic or how you would know what a 'peasant' somewhere would be thinking, but perhaps a single 'peasant' somewhere doesn't need to worry about it because it isn't their job.
But for those who have undertaken to investgate the impact of the decision, they ARE worrying.

I would also suspect that a 'peasant' somewhere who relies on the sea or the land for the liveliehood of their families actual DOES worry about the problems occurring in our environment.
Which makes them a whole lot smarter than those who think the tax was a scam.

Yeah, hilarious to watch. At least people are expressing a point of view so as to have adult discussions on different opinions rather than posting cartoons and slogans with no depth. Says a lot about intelligence when no answers can be given other than pictures.

INAM I would suggest that those very same media sites are somewhat complicit in what has happened. For some years they have presented the view that there was almost equal balance scientifically for and against anthropogenic global warming, and as a result climate change. This balance was because of the 'present equal coverage to opposing opinions' when reporting, when in fact as most here might know the ratio is 97.5% : 2.5%. This skewed reporting has produced very many people who think CO2 warming is/was nonsense and not worth addressing, especially when they lack any knowledge of atmospheric science/physics.
Kyoto was in 1997, atmospheric CO2 has continued to steadily increase since then, and in fact the annual change is accelerating. By all means play politics, quote OS media if it makes you feel good, but face reality and address it where global warming is concerned.
