Another very rich woman to add to the list for the socialists and the people that hate anyone thats successful to attack and pick on now.
🙂
THÉRÈSE Rein has sold her recruitment company Ingeus to American Providence Service Corporation for what could be a $221 million bounty for former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s wife.
The move could also skyrocket Ms Rein’s position on the BRW Rich Women List, an annual compilation of self-made women in Australia.
Ms Rein’s $135 million fortune places her at number 10 on the list, which is topped by Vicky Teoh — the fiercely private founder of TPG Telecom along with her husband David.
However the sale could put her within reach of Toga Group founder Charlotte Vidor who is ranked number two with a $360 million fortune or Topdeck Travel’s Jade Turner with $355 million.

yes it is, although imagine if we all just got off our backsides and worked hard, we could all be multi -millionaires but who would clean the toilets and nanny our children, fix our plumbing, clean the streets, fix our cars, grow our food, make our clothes...........
Did you know, that a lady who embraced the whole telemarketing thing before it was commonplace, is worth about $70 million now?
She was a single mum who never even finished grade 10. Her aunty paid to have the phone put on in her single room flat. She got herself through a business degree, then launched the first telemarketing company. Hooked up with her brother who was in accommodation and together they did some amazing stuff,
She's "retired" now, owns a pub here in Qld and works there evey day.

Those who use their wealth to help those less fortunate are to be commended whereas those who use their wealth for greed and power should be condemned.

Rein's work is not "her philanthropy". It has been her work, her business. her raison d'etre apart from her family. She has sold her business to others with the same humanity.

You made an accusation that was outrageous and untrue. I take it that you won't be uttering this mendacious statement again.

I'm not sure why it matters that someone worked out a way to build a business and then sell it and make money?
I'm sure that they will pay the legal taxes etc that they have to.
I don't think it matters how they got it, or through what industry(?)
Also, I am not sure why people seem to be against those who do have inherited wealth.
I am working very hard to provide my kids with a trust fund. Now, unless something significant happens in the next 9 years, it won't be worth millions, but what's wrong with them inheriting what I leave behind? Whether it be trust fund or inheritance.
As long as it's all done legally and any subsequent earnings eyc from it are done so legally, I don't understand the issue of where the money comes from.
As an aside, there is some fund/charity that Bill Gates has set up where Wealthy people are being encouraged to will their wealth upon their death. Can't remember the name, found it through one of the links that Icy provided in her dailly news articles. The list was quite extensive and the amounts were quite mind boggling.

Jeez I hate it when the wrong person comes.
