Therese Rein to net $220m to add to her Fortune

Another very rich woman to add to the list for the socialists and the people that hate anyone thats successful to attack and pick on now.

   🙂

THÉRÈSE Rein has sold her recruitment company Ingeus to American Providence Service Corporation for what could be a $221 million bounty for former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s wife.

The move could also skyrocket Ms Rein’s position on the BRW Rich Women List, an annual compilation of self-made women in Australia.

Ms Rein’s $135 million fortune places her at number 10 on the list, which is topped by Vicky Teoh — the fiercely private founder of TPG Telecom along with her husband David.

However the sale could put her within reach of Toga Group founder Charlotte Vidor who is ranked number two with a $360 million fortune or Topdeck Travel’s Jade Turner with $355 million.

Also, I am not sure why people seem to be against those who do have inherited wealth.

People dislike Gina because of what she says and does, not because she inherited wealth.

Like telling people to stop having fun if they want as much money as she. Like telling the powers that be that we'd be better off if we'd work for her for $2 an hour or day.  Like ripping of her own children.

Re: Therese Rein to net $220m to add to her Fortune

ok freaki, I don't know so much about her, only what i read here on cs.

But in a way I agree with some of what she says.

I want as much money as her (how much has she got?) to get money and accumulate it, even if it is just a few thousand, I have to stop spending what I do get on non essential things. (I don't know what concept she said that in)

Just like if I want to be wealthy like Bill Gates, or Richard Branson etc, I would have to not only work towards a conceopt such as they, but then also invest and save any earnings I did get, wisely. THEN, once there is a base generating passive income, THEN I should spend on non essentials. Neither of those guys wotk an 8 hour day, 5 day week.

So yes, If I do want to attain even a bit of what Ms Rheinhart (darn, can't spell it LOL) Gina has, I do have to do as she is advocating.

not sure about the $2 a day thing - what context was that in? (sounds like she needs a slap in the head with a wet fish)

ripping her own children off? How? (make that a double slap with a wet fish)

Ah, so you know nothing about her, didn't hear what she said, don't know how she ripped off her children but you agree with her. eh? eh?

OK, you go right ahead and agree with her just because. eh? That makes so much sense. eh? eh?

Re: Therese Rein to net $220m to add to her Fortune

I did read something about her doing something to her kids. I never agreed with that aspect of what you wrote, I only agreed with what she said about accumulation of wealth. In the absence of inheriotance, how else would one (legally) aquire the wealth that she has? I know she inherited hers, but, in the absence of inheritance, what other options are there? Work for it and save and invest and limit non essential spending until such time that there is a base income generating passive wealth.

I figure, if a person could accumulate One Million dollars. Even if they just put that in the bank at 5% interest p/a. that's 50 thousand dollars a year passive income. I can spend the 50,000 a year, but leave the capiotal in the bank to generate money for next year.

if out of that 50,000 i save and invest more, the passive income becomes more.

but I have to get to a decent base wealth first, and the way to do that is to earn every cent I can, and then spend it wisely by eliminating non essentials.

Re: Therese Rein to net $220m to add to her Fortune

What is the actual point of this thread?

Therese Rein to net $220m to add to her Fortune.

So what? She has worked for the money, she did not steal it or got it from the Government. And she is not the only woman in Australia that has done well.

Good Luck to her!

Although I never liked Kevin, she is a separate person from him.

You should read about what she says and does before comparing her to Therese Rein they are totally different types of people apart from having money. Chalk and cheese really 🙂

I'm not sure but I think it had something to do with attacking people with progressive points of view. Those the OP considers to be leftards, lefties, socialists, or something like that.
