I just posted a reply to a question in the Answer Centre - Buying that was posted on 23.02.2021 - this question has now moved to the top of the Answer Centre in the new boards format (hope it is not just a Friday glitch)

sadly no, i have set everything correctly
i just cannot post links to the ABC news web page
photos will usually only post if i first 'save' them to my computer/pictures
then select them in the post using the camera thing in the above choices
ive given posting links away now
i'll still post the odd pictures on leroy and rosie
not too sure if i'll bother with cat saturday or dog sunday anymore
or any other threads

Is this what you can't do?

Try putting your link in URL and also in text to display, David

I can only put FREE pics up by selecting URL and pasting that into the camera icon, and hit enter....otherwise it's back to old way of saving to computer (like I always have)

I have just been fooling around trying to solve the problem with copying and pasting images.
Try this:
1. Select the online image and right click "copy image"
2. Click the "Insert Photos" option (at top)
3. Left click inside the grey box
4. Press "ctrl and v" (paste) on keyboard
5. Click "Done" at bottom right
6. Bob's your uncle, I hope.
However, if you make a boo boo, you must "Cancel" the post and try again in a new "Reply". Trying again in the same reply will cause flooding.
That's how I posted the below image after I was unable to copy/paste the usual way.
