You'd have to shut off the breaker to that circuit, take the light apart and disconnect the wires to the fan.
Or hire a licensed electrician to run a line to a separate switch.
Although there can be advantages the way it is.
If there are other people in the house turning on the fan signals what's happening, lol.

Sounds like you're living in a motel. hahahahaha
Farnsworth, our bathrooms don't necessarily mean there's a toilet in there, unlike US

If the toilet isn't in the bathroom, where is it?

in the toilet room or a seperate nook off the bathroom
Or, if it's my house, it is a stupidly small, triangle shaped thing in the corner

We mostly have a separate room for the toilet.
You know it's unhealthy to have a toilet in the bathroom, don't you?
Those nasty germs fly about 15 feet around the room and land on your toothbrush, etc.
Then you brush your teeth with fecal matter.
Unless you're really good and remember to lower the lid before flushing.
That's what it's for, but most people don't bother.
In my house, the toilet is at the back of the house in a cubicle off the laundry.

Notice how in all those crazy home reno shows on Oz TV, it seems that never mind the house or appartment is the size of a palace, there is no longer any space for a separate toilet (or often a laundry come to that).
Not much privacy without that separate loo....and the thought of doing my washing in the kitchen (seems to be common in the UK) is not my idea of fun. There was a cupboard laundry in one of The Block shows that I found very funny. Thinking about the limited space despite the cupboards, a passageway blocked by sheets and towels waiting to be put in the washer somewhat spoils the look of a million dollars plus appartment.
As for cleanliness in bathrooms. Well you'd soon know what needs to be kept clean when the toilet is separated from the vanity by only a sheet of clear glass. Ugh.

The fan would be an extraction fan and it's there to extract the steam when people have a shower,(otherwise
you could get it settling on surfaces and cause mould to develop.
You need that fan so the only way to have it set up differently is to get an electician to put in and re-wire
another switch in to separate them.
At present both lots of wire from the fan and the light would come back to the switch.
By changing the switch to one with two on off switches they will separate the two functions.
