Mental health days are for morons, says Calare Public School principal Christian Cundy

I thought it was a send up when I saw it but apparently not 😞 NSW school. I suspect he needs a mental health day to see a professional.

Was he trying to be funny?

Ruined his career for a few misguided wisecracks?  Doesn't he realise the PC police have no sense of humour?

They did this topic in this morning's breakfast show on the radio seeing it was Mental Health day today. People should take the day off to relieve stress and feelings of anxiety or depression.

Listeners were invited to call in.

Interestingly, most of the callers were men. Sufferers of depression, mostly, and in full support of Mental Health day.

One man rang in with thiscomment:

"Most ppl already have days to take time off stress. They're called "weekends"

He thought it was a funny memo to send to his teachers. Unfortunately, some did not agree that it was funny so took it  higher up..... the outcome was not favoured by teachers and parents, so one of them dobbed to the media.

Guess they really didn't like it?

As for the weekend, there are lots of people who don't get the weekend off.
