Sometimes you're lucky if they ever leave there

Thanks, I can see there has been a sorting issue which usually is when the sorting machines have trouble reading the address or label on the parcel.

In turn this causes a delay to the delivery time of the parcel. If you don't have this by Wednesday please contact the sender who will need to raise an inquiry on your behalf.

Not necessarily.   Sometimes the label gets water damaged/affected and that

makes it blurry and hard to read.

I always cover the address with wide clear packing tape for that reason.

Not just parcels, but letters as well.

All our parcels seem to go to Both Dandenong, then Sushine W, then sometimes back to Dandenong, who knows why

I have bought two items, one from Melbourne, one from Hong Kong.

The one from HK arrivd after seven days, the one from Melbourne took 11 days to reach me. I live only an hour and a half drive from Melbourne. Straight to the south east, but my parcel went roundabout north then south and finally to Gippsland. How fast was that for Australia Post???

Buyers blame sellers when it is not their fault AP has lousy sorting methods.

It can be very strange as to how parcels are sorted, indeed!

A friend and I who live in the same town, put in separate orders for quilting fabric from the USA, same company, same date, same amount, same fabric.

My friend received hers 11 days before I did and we live across the road from each other.  The tracking route was so different but only once it reached Australia where it appears to have gone all over the country first ...
