What have you or your children done with lollypop sticks?

Final one:

The story is, as I said above, partly influenced by my Dad who was a gardener.  It was also influenced, a little bit by a pub in Brisbane called The Elephant and Wheelbarrow.

The story behind it is that the gardener is absent, doing something.  When he comes back, he's going to sit in his rocking chair, read the newspaper, and drink the beer which he will pour into the waiting glass.  He's got an ashtray and his pipe, his watch is on the table so he can keep his eye on the time.  When he's finished, he'll take the wheelbarrow and unload the fruit and vegetables into the house.  He's also found his wife's hat in the garden (she's a bit absent minded), and he'll return that to her (with a typical male SA remark).  Oh, there's also the faithful family pooch waiting by the man's chair ... dunno if you can see that.

The photo that didn't come out (my camera is nearly out of battery) showed that there are two seats in the dunny, side by side.  I don't get that at all ...

I did wonder about the elephant.  That's a great story! 😄

One of these days I will make my own paving bricks or slabs and get hold of some lawn.

Thanks, Joono.

I've got some miniature bricks.  I was going to put them on the floor, but when I got everything I thought it would look too busy.  I put a few of the bricks against the wall when I had the garden set up properly.

One of the other things I'm working on is a depiction of The Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe.  I'm making that, of course, in a shoe.  It's a high heeled woman's size 8 shoe and I'm making little living areas, like bathroom, living room, kitchen ... it's really difficult working out how to fit everything in.

The other scene is a lounge room.

I MAKE jewelry ... I just put together miniature scenes ...

The shoe does sound very tricky.  I was also working on a lounge room before Christmas and it's almost complete.  I just need some extra touches and I'm not real happy with the fireplace.  That came from the Victorian Dolls House magazine that was out recently.

The tree (and quite a few of my miniatures) was bought on ebay but the Christmas baubles were made with beads and jewellery findings.  I haven't made any jewellery myself.

Making jewellery is very easy if you have the right tools.  That quite surprised me.  Let me know if you're interested in making it.

Love your candelabra 🙂

Very nice!  I love the blue one.  It's so unusual.

Thanks, Joono.  The blue beads inside the black beads move around ... the bracelet has freshwater pearls in it 🙂

I find it so relaxing.
