It is a consipiracy by CS LNP supporters to quell public discussion on the current Govt's failures.
Apparently you've missed all the ALP ones over the past few months. Both sides have been at it. And it's not really about 2 threads, it's about one poster's right to say they don't like it, they're over it, they'd like not to have the board flooded with political threads.

Please explain why it is only the LNP supporters that don't want any political discussion/criticism of the current Govt??
I had no idea those posters who agree with the OP by giving her posts kudos, were all LNP supporters.....I dont usually see them on political threads...

DDB, I've learnt that I can't share things on the board like you do .
Political discussion are safer .
I will fight any suggestion that my taking part in that is not to yours or anyone elses liking and that I should have a seperate board than you if I wish to discuss politics...just because you don't like them.

My opinion is the politic threads are fun. Many people do actually enjoy discussing what's happening in our country. Having just two threads would be beyond boring as it would make individual issues impossible to discuss. For example the ashbygate affair is longstanding so it might be discussed every month or two, making a single thread difficult to follow. Also, in which thread would it be discussed? It'd have to be in both threads and not many would enjoy reading duplicate posts. Not much rational thought in that idea, IMO.
I think there should be more political threads and I often think of starting them myself, but others usually beat me. One day I hope to be fast enough 😄
I would like to see all the political & society discussion threads stay here in CS and lithium to start a new board called Commiunity Inanities (CI) where people could post the latest gossip mag story, preemptive trial outcomes and pretty avatar pictures.
That is your opinion. Obviously, it's not other peoples.
And this isn't a political forum, is it? Because it has kind of seemed that way the past year.

Yes, you have already mentioned that. Posters can say what they want (withing posting rules) .... does it mean every single person that reads their posts agrees with it or has to do what the poster wants them to do?? No, it doesn't. Others don't have to take one bit of notice about what the OP would like to see happen. Does one poster speak for all?
If anyone is holding their breath waiting for political threads to cease they are going to have a very looooooooooong wait.

Sorry, meep, I don't take any notice of who leaves who kudo's. They will leave kudo's but not make a post in support of OP?
Flooded with political threads is an exaggeration... at this present time. Not so when the LNP supporters were out in force before the election.
Those that don't want to read political thread titles, enter into political discussions have the option of starting a Group (no politics allowed).
