I am enjoying my 70 th birthday and have decided that I have wallowed too long for the past few years in being a senior cit and now it is time to get back into the race.
I have restarted my market stall and it is great to again be getting up at 4.30am and heading into the markets ready for a day of argy bargy and haggling.
I figure that if others here like Richo can still be working, so can I.

Happy Birthday for last Sunday Jean. Forget about being a senior cit, age is just a number, go out and enjoy life.

All the best to you, Jean but for me - oh my gawd starting the day at that hour is my idea of hell on earth for this old girl of 59.

Thanks sprinkles, but I actually like that time of the morning, and the setting up time at the markets is special. Before the customers come it is just the traders and the jostling and back chatting and large amounts of coffee has a special atmosphere. Certainly not a place to be if you are PC or don't like the earthy and down to earth conversations. I wouldn't change it for quids.

Yes Jean, a lot of people are naturally early risers regardless of what they're doing. I've never been in that category. For sure the camaraderie must be great and quite stimulating. Would make it all worthwhile I imagine.
