Daube of Beef Cheeks with Oxtail to be precise. I started at 8am! Should be ready in time for dinner

It's funny, but I am so going off meat.
Tonight, my son will be eating 3 lamb chops for dinner and I will be making fish cakes. And, I will be eating them with bread (fishburgers, lol). And, a bit of salad, and maybe some cheese.
There again, tomorrow I will be cooking a whole chicken ... don't know how yet.
Maybe it's red meat that I'm not liking any more, but I had this incredible steak the other day ...

They were very nice. Lovely and tender and very tasty. I served it on a bed of roasted garlic mashed potatoes with baked sweet potato.
Was it worth the loooonng cooking time? Meh
Would I do it again? Probably not
