Today, the 700th illegal boat arrived under Labor’s watch

The latest arrival of two vessels carrying 157 people takes the total number of illegal boats that have arrived on Labor’s watch past 700.

Over 42,000 people have arrived on 701 boats since the Rudd-Gillard Government dismantled the Howard Government’s border protection regime.

Labor’s decision to dismantle the Howard Government’s policies has put our country’s security at risk.

It has cost hundreds of lives lost at sea and resulted in thousands of people entering our communities without rigorous security checks.

Every illegal boat arrival cost Australians $12.8 million (on average) – and that’s money which could otherwise go to fund hospitals, roads and help repay debt.

It has seen border protection cost blowouts of more than $10 billion for a system that does not work – that’s money which could otherwise fund hospitals, roads and help repay debt.

Labor’s mismanagement has also included the detention of a convicted jihadist terrorist in low security family accommodation at Inverbrackie in South Australia.

This jihadist was a member of the terrorist organisation Egyptian Islamic Jihad, which merged with al Qaeda in 2001, many years before his arrival by boat.

With an average of 100 people now arriving every day, Australia cannot afford three more years of Labor failure.

Stony silence am*3???

Perhaps you are still pondering 🙂

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Just for you to ponder am*3.

Let us suppose that you had your house invaded because you had an open window and the invader demanded that you feed clothe shelter and entertain them.

Would you be ok with that?

Now lets suppose that a person came to your front door and requested help, would you not be more inclined to give aid in that instance?

When it all boils down the uninvited border invader is no different to the uninvited home invader that I have just described.

Would you not agree?

No, that is complete nonsense.

The question was: How is TA going to stop the boats should he become PM.?

What is his policy (apart from the fibbers about communicating with Indonesia about sending the boats back).

You sidestepped answering the question.

And your reasoning is?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

There is only 1 question I asked and your reply has nothing to do with TA's policy on stopping the boats.

No amount of deflection, silly gifs, cartoons, betting odds or nursery rhymes will make any difference.

What is TA policy on stopping the boats? ie: How is he going to stop them coming/arriving in Australia? (excluding his recent fib of having communicated with the Indonesians to assist with this problem).

By the way in conflicting versions of any story how can you tell which side is telling porkies unless you were there at the time?

Do you think the indonesian ambassadore is beyond telling a porkie?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Just click on either of the above links and ask him.... Send him a stern email and  DEMAND he tell you.....It really is that easy.

and am*# you are sidestepping the question as I suspect you dont have an answer to what is a very true analogy from Poddster...... (or was it me)

BTW am*# how many  boat people did you take into your home and house when it was on offer from the govt?

1? 3? 5? or did you take an entire family?   So how many was it that you housed?

I am not privvy to that sort of information so who ask me?

But I imagine you are privvy to what you would be likely to do in the situation that I have described in the home invader situation.

I doubt I will get an answer though because it may conflict with what you claim to believe:)

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

We are discussing not letting boat people arrive into the country and the policy to stop that.

Nothing to do with house intruders or how many refugees I would/have taken into my home.

IF TA's policy for stopping the boats is to collorating with Indonesig send the boats straight back to Indonesia.. how is he going to achieve that?

No such collaboration will happen ... between Indonesia and Australia.

Indonesia's ambassador to Australia Nadjib Riphat Kesoema

If you want to criticise the current govt for letting 700 illegal boats enter the country, then that is fine. I want to know how TA is going to stop the same happening should he be PM.
