A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.
Solved! Go to Solution.

When looking at number of jobs created, have also to take into account the number of jobs lost... so far the jobs lost is higher than those created under the Abbott Govt.
Unless a job created is full time & permanent there is not much point getting excited about it.
Major Budget proposals stalled in Senate - serious issue
What are these trillions of projects held up by Labor - not one detail given
Free trade agreements also include employers can employ overseas staff on 457 visas without having to search for local staff first.. no new job opportunities for Australians there.
Cutting small business tax in July by 1.5% - won't create many jobs as small businesses are just that, small, they don't employ many people.
Has your home electrictiy bill fallen by 10%|? Mine hasn't

Quit worry about jobs except to get one so you can pay back your debt to Australia, which you won't do,
we know that but worth asking.

You capred on about Jobs the other week saying none had been created.
I prooved otherwise but you won't admit that.
Shown what areas can do, like Geelong, you go into denial as "we are different". BS.
Won't contact your local council because, it's Abbott's fault, that's the only thing you sprout.
With your attitiude, it's no wonder no one creates any full time jobs near you.

A politician who delivers a wonderful sound grab to "create one million new jobs over five years" is actually doing nothing at all to reduce the unemployment rate. They are merely suggesting they hope to see the economy grow at its long rate trend pace and that jobs created only just matches population growth and no more.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott is promising to create one million jobs in the first five years of the Coalition Government and two million jobs over 10 years. One cheer to that!
It is a promise that the drover's dog could deliver given the fact that Australia's population will be approximately two million larger in five years and four million larger in 10. All Mr Abbott is promising is to find half of the new Australians a job.

Now you are just being silly. You posted an on topic quote. I have queried the source of it. That is addressing the topic.
What is the source of your on topic article?
Readers deserve to know where the info comes from that others post. Is it verified? Confirmed as accurate? One persons opinion.. a person who we don't know who they are?

All discounted as personal attacks.
The ABS statistics are FACTS. Jobs created needs to be balance by jobs lost in same period... common sense, doesn't need further explanation.
Abbott Govt has done nothing to reduce the amount of unemployed people looking for full time work. In fact, the number has increase by 6000 (ABS facts).
