A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.

Stop the berries: Tony Abbott says all dodgy imported frozen berries will be 'stopped at the border' in the wake of Hepatitis A scare 

The frozen berries at the centre of the Hepatitis A outbreak are now banned from entering Australia as the imported products have so far seen 18 people suffer from the disease.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott declared in Question Time at Parliament House on Monday that the Nanna's frozen berries products would undergo 100 percent screening as the fruit is categorised as medium risk.

'They will not ever be allowed for human consumption,' Mr Abbott said, The Daily Telegraph reported, adding that the products would be 'stopped at the border'. 

The health department says the source of the virus is still unconfirmed but the berries are the only common exposure in all cases.

The Department of Agriculture is asking all companies importing Chinese berries for more information about their sources and food safety management.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand will review of the risk status of frozen berries.

It has been revealed the frozen berries are from the Shandong province in east China, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Cities and villages in Shandong are reportedly plagued by chemical and industrial waste pollution, with farming land laying adjacent to factories and petrochemical plants.

One river running through the village of Jinling is so polluted by nearby chemical factories that the water is red coloured and has a foul smell, according to local Chinese reports.

We import berries from China while the Chinese buy up as many as Australia can produce because they know how polluted their own home-grown product.

One wonders what the standard Chinese owned farms in Australia will acheive?

Does it mean a couple of samples from each pallet, from each carton, from each bulk lot, or from each shipment?

I think he means 100%, the lot, all of it.

As opposed to a respresentative sample.

When I have had stuff 100% checked, they check, inspect, test and / or radiate 100% of it. No exceptions.

They are very thorough.

So while we all froth about berries anybody given a thought about the extreme position Italy is facing from isis?

This could never happen here....could it? all we have to worry about is how many flags were behind the PM yesterday when he outlined his plan to protect us against terrorism.

It is food. The test samples are not recycled back into the packs.

That is a pretty strange thing to say.

He thought he had a child when he was a teen ( that the baby was his).... never bothered to pay any child support for the boy, for the years betwen when that chid was born until he was 18. He heard from the boy/man, when he was about 27 yrs old.

Did he tell his family about the baby? I don't think he did.

No he didn't think he had a child all those years ago, he was confronted by an adult man who said he was his son. As it turned out, he wasn't but the way Tony Abbott handled the situation, the full and frank openness he displayed and his desire to accept the possiblity to be the father to this child just goes to the fact that he is a decent   and honourable man.

Bringing this up on here after all this time shows the bankrupt morality  of the leftists on here and only reflects bady on them.
