There's no doubt Trump DID outsmart Hillary. The votes have been counted, Trump is president and Hillary is just another in a very long line of half done wannabes, to be forgotten in the history books. ( Love him or Loathe him, I don't think Trump will be forgotten in the history books for awhile )
HRC has accomplished a lot during her life, and most of it was spent doing something good for people. I do not think "outsmart" is the word to describe what happened. Trump did not really do anything except being himself, and behaving like a chat show star, There was nothing very smart about it. Unless you think that releasing all sorts of most ridiculous lies about her is smart. Of course, lots of was done by Russian trolls, who were instructed to destabilise and divide America. They have released similar ridiculous lies about Trump, but the problem was that democrat voters are not so gullible and did not repost them, while the **bleep** about Hillary went viral. I have come across somebody just recently saying "Hillary freed pedophile" and "her emails" and "all those murders the Clintons committed" and do not forget "Benghazi". FOX ran with all that despite there was absolutely NOTHING it. By the way HRC did not call Trump's followers "Basket of Deplorables". I wish people would read beyond the headlines before they use just a snippet against her. But sadly to read the whole paragraph is beyond many.
Hillary deplorables speech
"I know there are only 60 days left to make our case -- and don't get complacent, don't see the latest outrageous, offensive, inappropriate comment and think, well, he's done this time. We are living in a volatile political environment. You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic -- you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up. He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people -- now 11 million. He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric. Now, some of those folks -- they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.
But the other basket -- and I know this because I see friends from all over America here -- I see friends from Florida and Georgia and South Carolina and Texas -- as well as, you know, New York and California -- but that other basket of people are people who feel that the government has let them down, the economy has let them down, nobody cares about them, nobody worries about what happens to their lives and their futures, and they're just desperate for change. It doesn't really even matter where it comes from. They don't buy everything he says, but he seems to hold out some hope that their lives will be different. They won't wake up and see their jobs disappear, lose a kid to heroin, feel like they're in a dead-end. Those are people we have to understand and empathize with as well."

I noticed Trump didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize, so he hasn't been able to match Obama

The WFP is a well deserving winner for this year, Trumps nomination for next year...hmmm

While Obama turned out to be a major disappointment for me and basically another bend over guy for Wall Street, he's seemingly decent when compared to Trump. Is Trump's election and the acceptance of his behaviour the barometer or stupidity?

Why was President Obama a disappointment to you? And why do you think that he was controlled by Wall Street, in comparison to Trump the stock market stump? And by the way, you do realize that Trump lost the popular vote by roughly 3 million votes? I hope you do, anyway? Those who voted against him don't accept his behavior. And more Republicans every day don't either. Take a look at The Lincoln Project, for example.
