Unlike Abbott (and I suspect a significant proportion of the LIberals Party), Turnbull is one smart guy.
He kept his mouth shut, supported the Mad Monk and didn't vote for the spill. If the spill had happened he would have been the new PM but it would have been one major headache for him - hated by 60% of his ministers/backbench.
Come closer to election time though and those same people will be BEGGING him to be leader. Because they know (as Turnbull does) that if Abbott leads them to the next election, they will all lose their seats.
And they will be grateful and compiant when he says yes.
Deride Turnbull all you want but he is your only hope for an election win next time around.

No wonder you predictions are worthless.
Perhaps the application of some original thought and a bit of logic could cure your lack of accuracy 🙂
Yes I have to agree with you there. The endless c&p with no original input, and then the high dungeon (sic) when it's pointed out.
I remember another who was a c&p manic, got on everybodys wick, bet she's not smiling now though 😉

Is that not a joke image?
Oh dear. Any bets being taken on who said that?
We were told this morning that the informal ballot paper had PASS written on it.

Ley was the latest effort to dampen down the dissent. Obviously didn't work.

I heard that too. I must say, it did cause a chuckle. 😄

Those stodgy old men don't look too impressed to be sharing the seat with her. The scene reminds me of the lads at primary school when the teacher tells a girl to sit next to them.

Regardless of whether it's Ley or Gambaro, what's a woman doing there anyway ? Goodness, she's not even wearing a blue tie (mind you, nor are a couple of the blokes). Who does she think she is ?
I wonder if Malcolm will have a few more sheilas on the front bench when he gets in. He would be a much better Minister for Sheilas than Abbott.
Hunt is almost sitting on the lap of Robb in order to get away from Ley. Hope she doesn't fall of the end of the couch.

It shows in the Seating Plan of the House of Representatives, that it is in fact Susan Ley.
I was wondering who the Member was, that was absent from the Ballot due to Paternity Leave.

Thanks but the question had already been answered.
Thanks for the map because it does confirm what we were talking about, that those pathetic excuses for men are in fact behaving like primary school boys afraid of catching girl germs. That they got elected as representatives to parliament when they haven't grown out of such simple childish behaviours is astounding.
