Undies

What colour undies are you wearing today?

Do you have a favourite brand/style/colour?

Re: Undies

Alternative undies

I do have memory of my dear mum insisting that (back in 1969) when we came out to Oz on a long plane journey that I (aged 12 yrs) change my undies twice en route and that we would not be able to wash/rinse our undies .......as she handed me 3 pairs of paper undies explaining that I was to put on a pair before we left our home for the last time. They were scratchie and not comfy to wear. Mum was a clean freak:)

Re: Undies

I've heard them called "smalls" but that doesn't apply in my (size 14) case.

If mine are smalls, I'd hate to see what "larges" are.Smiley Embarassed

Anyone, remember "witches britches"?  1960's if I recall.

Similar to knee length long johns fabric;  bloomers that covered down past the stocking top.

That'd be the 1860s.  It certainly wasn't the 1960s.

Re: Undies

Actually it was the 1960's. My Nana was still wearing them in the early 80's.  *shudder*

I remember once, we were living with her for awhile, and she was horrified that my fathers wife would sometimes sleep naked.

Apparently she never EVER got naked with Grandfather. For procreation purposes she would roll her ankle length nightgown up to her waist. Funny old thing she was. Smiley LOL
