I watched it today
OMG!! 😲😲
What an eye opener!!
Truly, after watching this documentary, if you still allowed any physician to jab your child with the MMR vaccine, then you need your bloody head read!!
I am pro vaccination but I'm now anti MMR vaccine.
The amount of families who've been affected ie now have a child with autism, is overwhelming, absolutely overwhelming!!
In 1986, it used to be 1 case of autism in 10,000 children. Now it's 1 in 50!!! 😪
Theres heaps of other info too but in all honesty, you've just got to watch it.
It's was very upsetting. Those poor families and children. So very sad.

Jane, please be aware that film makers can put forward any 'facts' that suit the
particular theory they're flogging.
Both 'for' and 'against'

While I have no love of pharmaceutical Companies and don't consider myself a sheep, a little research into some of the players may give you a little concern:
"Many parents involved in the anti-vaccination movement fear a link between the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine and autism. Such a link was first suggested in 1998 by UK researcher Andrew Wakefield. His research, based on just 12 children, has since been disproved and retracted."

i think the numbers of people being diagnosed as suffering from autism is because we now are testing for it at much higher levels.
and those doing the testing are better trained.
not just saying billy is a bit 'different' he'll grow out of it.
medicine has come a long way in the past 30 years.

Yes it has thank goodness. Health issues are more likely to be identified/diagnosed at a much earlier age and treatments can be applied at a much earlier date. A lot of heath problems can be prevented by means as vaccination which is what this issue is about. The makers and supporters of this film appear to be ( I may be wrong) against all forms of vaccination.
Thank goodness vaccination against smallpox, polio, rubella/mumps,diphtheria whooping cough etc are available and have been for a very long time . Smallpox is now said to be eradicated.
While i'm very sympathetic for a lot of the health and family problems demonstrated in this film, I can't help but think that a lot of the "evidence" has been cherry picked to suit their point of view and statistics have manipulated to suit a certain argument.
Many years ago while working in a regional country town, the local newspaper came with a headline "car stealing increases by 100% in two years". That meant on examination that instead of one car been stolen 2 had been stolen

The film is mostly aimed at the MMR (Measles/Mumps/rebella) vaccination. They clearly state that when given as single stand alone doses, there were no severe reactions, but only when they were givenas the triple antigen, has all these regressions symptoms starting to appear in the affected babies. ... Prior to the injection, the babies had been progressing normally, all healthy babies. (toddlers)
They also claim, that it appears to be age related. So, what they mean by that is that when children over the age of 3yrs , were given the MMR instead of at 12-15mths as recommended, there was a significant drop in critical adverse reactions.
Yet.... despite all this, the CDC and the FDA still recommend that the MMR be given at 12-15 mths.
Q) If babies are not in contact with Measles, mumps and rubella in the environment all at once, why do they need to be vaccinated against them as a tripple dose???
Their tiny little immune systems cant handle it at that younger age. Surely!
Anyway, as I said before... I am still pro vacination. Always will be... but now, I am more aware of (POSSIBLE LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS) of the MMR, and I for one, wouldnt like to be taking any chances.
If you want to take that chance, go ahead. I hope the odds are in your favour!!
P/S: what about the people who scream about risking children's health by NOT vaccinating, yet they smoke, take illicit drugs, drink alcohol, take part in unsafe practices etc etc etc............ oh, yeah, thats right.... only those who oppose vacinating a child is the baddie here!

The MMR vaccine is fine. That Andrew Wakefield had his medical licence revoked and his so called research was formally retracted. THERE IS NO LINK BETWEEN AUTISM AND MMR. This has been proven by repeatable studies. No one has been able to repeat Wakefield's study because it was so falsified. Any scientific results must be able to be repeated. Science 101 there. This so called documentary is just anti vaxx propaganda.
As to increase in autism, we are more aware of it and more likely to seek a diagnosis, which is good as the children who need help will receive (hopefully) earlier and be of more benefit to them.
As a side note, Wakefield was also receiving payments from lawyers who wanted to sue the manufacturers of the MMR vaccine and had a patent for his own MMR vaccine. It's not just big pharma selling. Don't believe everything you hear janeabe.
And lets just say it does cause autism (it doesn't) which is worse autism or a dead child. Some people think these illness are nothing to worry about childhood illnesses, this is untrue, they can be deadly, and cause infertility, miscarriage and birth defects to name a few.
Also why the assumption that pro vaccine people are smokers, drinkers etc. Nasty and unnecessary.
