I have had 3 phone calls that start off.

Congratulations your last flight with Virgin has won you a refund of $999.99 just press 1

I hung up.  I have never flown with Virgin.

Wow really?  I recieved that exact same call yesterday.  I too have never flown with virgin

It's not just Virgin, I'm on a travel forum and qantas have put out a warning too!

got an overseas call centre who wanted to know if i had a valid credit card...then got the salesman trying to flog me a prepaid holiday.....spoke to me as if i had a major hearing issue and well as comprehension problems.

Informed them i did not like to be spoken to as if i was a fool because only a fool would give up their credit card details to a complete stranger.

I got it the other day as well.. OH does on occasion fliy Virgin, but it just reeks "Scam" 

I hung up too.
