WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

Some tricky bits here. Block 3 right - it was a question of T or B. Bottom left - with only 3 letters known (one green and two yellow), I suspected that one of the letters would be reused… and that worked perfectly if the other letter was what it was.

Quite chuffed with my efforts today overall! Especially Quordle, getting it out in general (which for me is rare!), but second right block getting it in 2 goes! Also getting bottom right out in 5. It could have been quite a few words, given I had the middle 3 letters in the right spot after the 3rd attempt.

I went with my gut feeling for top right, and that unlocked top left. Bottom right at that point could have been one of two possibilities, and bottom right seemed highly likely to be a particular word.

A lot of negatives were floating around in that Octordle.

Very average results here for wordle but better than yesterday's, at least. I tried on the phone yesterday -(Tuesday & Wednesday being my childminding days with the grandkids so I am not often home) and it took me 6. I did try with an 'out there' starter, just for the fun of it.

I also tried octordle on the phone but without pen and paper and being able to see all the squares, plus kids asking things in between, I dipped out completely on 2 of them.
