WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I had a terrible result with my starter. With no clue as to the word, I simply had to narrow down the architectural features of this little castle … and luckily my eliminator helped. Even though it only uncovered one green and a yellow, I could see only one possible answer after that.

Couple of more unusual answers in this one.

used pricy as eliminator at turn 3 & even going back to look at it with hidnsight, can't see that any guess was clear cut at that stage.
Had I had a stab at it, I would have tried crush or brush for #7 and sunny for #2, so it is lucky I waited!

But I made 2 errors right at the end, for #5.
I tried natty and then tangy before getting tawny. I don't feel too bad as at least they were sensible enough tries, just wrong.

Now this one looks better because I started solving at turn 3.

But I actually feel I played this one worse, a most unfortunate mistake at the end on #3. I had letters eud and knew it started with D and thought oh I know what that could be-dunce. In it went without a moment's thought. The word was most apt as I had eliminated N right on my first word!

So, not proud of this effort.

I was going fine in this till the end, where I just could not work out #2.

I thought it must have some letter in it I had just not worked out, so I went with another eliminator.

I tried brief as I suspected it might start with B, but all I could think of was befog or biped & neither of them could be 'it'. My letters were O/E/P/B
My eliminator was brief, just to test the B and also to cover F.
So I got the answer as it was all I could work out, given the likely vowel placement. But what a weird one, I have only ever heard it in a song.
I know we ask for more variety in words but wasn't keen on this one.
