WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

I didn't get on yesterday but I did do wordle on my phone and I got it in 2! Mainly because alien gave me a green starter and 3 other letters, so there wasn't much to work out.

I was so frustrated not to be home to post it.

But never mind, onto today's.

I found this okay, but I had a real bit of luck on turn 3.

I often use pricy or crypt as eliminator but today I decided to go with crept for turn 3 as it had some of those useful letters plus it was a possible word for #4, though I wasn't counting on that. But it was!
After that, they were okay till towards the end I felt the need to use badge as an eliminator.

This felt a bit like walking through a minefield as quite a few had multiple possibilities. In the end I used another eliminator (podgy) as P/D needed to be sorted. I wwould have loved to have had a B in there too but couldn't think of an eliminator with those 3. I was pleased with podgy though, it helped a lot.

Till right at the end. faded/jaded? No way to tell. I went for what I thought as more unlikely as it is the extreme version, so thought they might try a trickier one.

Mistake on turn 3 for #8. I thought and thought and could only come up with cloak as a possible so I tried it, Wrong. Then I got it.

I took a risk on #5 too-deify or edify but thought of edify first so went with it.
