WORDLE - anyone else trying the daily online word game?

I recently stumbled across WORDLE online.  For the uninitiated, it is a daily word guessing game where you have to try to guess the word in 6 or less tries.

This, from Wikipedia, explains the game:

Every day, a five-letter word is chosen which players aim to guess within six tries. After every guess, each letter is marked as either green, yellow or gray: green indicates that letter is correct and in the correct position, yellow means it is in the answer but not in the right position, while gray indicates it is not in the answer at all. The game has a "hard mode" option, which requires players to include letters marked as green and yellow in subsequent guesses. The daily word is the same for everyone. The game also has a dark mode as well as a high-contrast theme for colourblind accessibility, which changes the color scheme from green and yellow to orange and blue.

I have found that most that most days I can get the daily word in 5 tries or less (mostly 5 though).  Interestingly, there is a spinoff of WORDLE called LEWDLE, where the words are lewd, or naughty, words.  I have better success with LEWDLE than I do with WORDLE . . . getting the word in just 2 or 3 attempts.  Not sure what that says about my private school education 🤣

Not shout, as you may expect.
I decided I needed to be more strategic, given I already had 3 letters.
Every single word that I could think of though had either O or U in it as well.
I was thinking-uncle, enrol, lunge.

In the end, I decided to go with court as eliminator. Got nowhere, except I now knew-only E.
3/ newly.
4/ complete blank. All I could think of was kneel, yet I knew it could not be it. But at least it would test out some placements. Felt like an idiot when I saw the result. Never thought of that!

I was going along okay till turn 6, when I looked at #3 and instantly thought aha, a V, bet it is covet. Of course, it couldn't be, a momen't thought would have shown me that.
Didn't learn my lesson though, rushed in with groom for #1 and as I pressed enter, thought... have I eliminated B though? That guess worked out though.

Towards the end, felt I needed another eliminator & used wiped. 
That regular one they throw at us-shape/share/shade etc etc

So my eliminator was wiped (should have used vaped, now I think of it)
Still had no idea what #6 was. Tried dazer (they seem to like gazer a lot so I thought this might be a variation)
Fader? I find some of their word selections a bit odd.

Congratulations on the awesome score.

I didn't get anywhere close to that score but I was going to say exactly the same thing. As I was doing it, I thought #8, it's between would and mould.

Then I thought, come off it, since when would this lot ever spell mould with a U in it? 😂
