What do you think? Was everything he did or said moral/ethical and a reflection of a perfect person?
What would a perfect person entail?
If he really was human, then was he born in sin like everyone else?

I'm asking. If Jesus was human, then he was born in sin (passed on from Adam and Eve) Then who forgave him for his sin? And only someone perfect can forgive right? If he wasn't human, then what was the sacrifice?
Based on the bible, Jesus was overall a good bloke but not perfect. He didn't come to bring peace but a sword. He got angry numerous times and even condemned a simple fig tree to death and killed it. Who in their right mind condemns a fig tree?:|

Bob, my question about being born in sin was tongue in cheek.
And don't be too hard on JC. This Atheist considers him a really good guy
The story of Jesus and his condemnation of the fig tree is a parable.....same as changing water into wine, etc. ,

1. The fig tree - so Jesus said some words to the fig tree and it withered and died - do you know many ordinary humans that can do that? And besides, it was a lesson in faith to the disciples.
2. Born in Sin - Jesus's fertilized egg was implanted in Mary's womb by an Angel of God. The same thing happens today when a Doctor implants a fertilised egg into a woman - maybe the natural mother or even a surrogate mother. Only difference is, in Jesus's case the egg and sperm were perfect ie not from any human who bore the sin of Adam, but directly from God. Mary was a vehicle to take that foetus to maturity - nothing more.
Believers will have no problem understanding this since we know God created all original life and has the knowledge and technology to create a small thing like a fertilized human egg.
Of course, non-believers will scoff and make a huge joke of the whole matter, but that is to be expected.
