No, it's not. A clumsy comment, but I think it was meant as sarcasm in response to the (white) woman, acting as if she expected something to happen. He was implying of course she was safe.

Inappropriate & stupid, I know, but I think sometimes cops must get confronted with utter fools and have to hold back on sarcasm a lot.

This guy let it get the better of him.

My guess is he was sick of people thinking cops are always shooting anyone, black or white.

unfortunately the citizens do fear the police in the USA. police killing inocent citizens not uncommon in the USA.

police should be better trained.

less killing, less confronting people for thinking they might be doing something wrong.

policing in the USA has become a business and not what it once was. cops are now looking for the slightest reason to grab up a citizen and ID them to see IF they have warrants.

Here is an example of why citizens are scared of police. nurse was obeying the law, cop ignores every law and attacks her all because she didnt do what he wanted. in my opinion she is lucky she didnt die. if she was black, who knows?
