LOL boris.           someone had to do it

My mum always said - a weed is just another plant growing where you don't want it.

A weed in seed is a seven-year weed

My Dear Grandma used to say....."if you see a weed pull it out!".....don't leave it-pull it out right there and then!Smiley LOL

I don't mind weeding just hate the aching back if I do too much at once.

Re: Wednesday WEEDS ......

My mum used to pull weeds at neighbours' houses while waiting for the "aunties" to come to the door.

I found myself pulling weeds from pots at the wholesale nursery the other day.

Mainly because I didn't want to bring the weed home to infestate my own garden.

Actually there are tiny weeds around now, that I don't remember seeing way back.

"One year's seeding is seven years' weeding"

This is a weed in parts of Australia, but not in Brisbane.

We used to make daisy-chains with the capeweed flowers. (Didn't know their name, though)

I seem to remember the sweet sweet smell AND taste (even!) of clover flowers.

many people put poison on their manicured lawns to kill clover off
