Greencat, I have no idea what happened to the weekly photo chat thread. I guess some people think one thread for all enternity is a good idea. That stinks, because the theme changes every week, and slogging through years of photo chat would be a royal pain. 

I guess we all have different ideas about what annoys us, and what pleases us. 

In any event, Wally is hilarious. He is such a ham.

Smart move.............I have no intention of participating in this week's theme..........I can't remember the last time I ever got photo bombed, and it's be chilly in Hades before I consider going out to fake a "bomb".........

It is pretty rare to get a good photobombed picture, Band. That spider in my grapes( the green theme) picture did surprise me. I don't use a tripod for photos. So... most of the time, I'm happy if the pics are sort of in focus. 

I laughed when I saw the elephant eating the groundskeeper in my photo that I took yesterday. It almost looks staged, but it wasn't.

I'm not sure if I'm reading you right, but there has been a new chat thread for each theme since the beginning. (maybe not the first couple...close enough to say all)

You've posted on 2 of them. If it was "for all eternity" it would already be 100 pages long.

I don't get it? Another poster said this weeks theme is great because it's letting people post pictures from their files instead of having to go out and take new pics for the theme. 99% of the pics posted since the beginning of the challenge have been from posters files.

The part I don't get....How is it 2 different posters come along long after it's started, make statements about the challenge and voice their displeasure with certain aspects of it and both be wrong...both new to the challenge and both act they like they aren't.

I've been watching and posting pics (not lately, but still view it) on the thread and I leave it to the originator of the challenge to say what's what. Some need to go with the flow and clam up.

Jimmy, I was sad that no weekly chat thread was started this week.  This thread was posted on Au. Thursday. That's pretty much half way through the challenge. I wanted to chat, and couldn't find the weekly thread. 

I agree with you, it should be continued as it has been since it started. 

I don't know why it changed this week. 

The chat thread (for this weeks challenge) was continued on the thread from the previous week.  

I truly am not complaining about the original rules of the challenge. 

Own work, digital enhanced okay, have fun, find wally, keep the chatter on the weekly chat thread. 

It's a great concept.

Why do we need a new chat thread for every theme..I would have thought it would be ok just to keep to one thread and keep updating it every week...jmo

In the U.S. a person who likes  attention and gets in the photo often, is called a ham.  I love Wally. My comment was a joke... as in... that Wally sure does like to get into all the photos. As if Wally was a person. 

Nics, if people don't post in every single photo challenge, it's a bit hard to see where the last weeks chat started, and where the new chat starts. I didn't post a Macro pic, because I really don't think I'm very good at that kind of photography. I did vote on some of the photos though. 

When I looked for the chat thread this week, I had to read through ten pages of Macro comments. 

You don't need a new thread. It just seems as though it might be easier to let the last week move off the front page, and start a new thread. 

Also, my settings here don't work. I have to scroll through several pages to find where I last read. Unless of course, I memorize the last post I've read on every thread, and then click directly on that page.
