Hubby found our dog playing with this baby cockatiel late in the afternoon. He rescued the bird, dried the dogslobber off it, and put it in a tree. Because it was so cold and heading for minus degrees we brought the bird in side for the night. Next day hubby put the bird back in the tree but later on found the dog again slobbering on the bird. He brought it back inside last night and this morning put it back in tree. It wasn't long before the parents found her and they all ended up on the ground with the parents feeding baby. Later in the morning the little bird was on the ground near our front door so hubby put her in the nearest tree. It can't fly, so tonight it's back inside safe from prowling puddy tats.
