My youngest rides a motorbike and loves it except for the road rage that she gets from car occupants. I recommend that your son gets a camera that attaches to his helmet so that everything can be recorded.

I got my bike licence 6 years before I got the car one and much prefer the bikes.
Don't have one at present but I've seen a "couple" I could be interested in,(sold my last one a year ago as we
moved and don't have the room for it here).
They took my bike licence in 1997 after I mangled my hand and I had to go through all the tests to get it
back.
He just needs to concentrate and should be fine on city roads as long as he keeps himself visible to all other
road users,(car and truck drivers need to be able to see him in their mirrors).
If he plans to ride in the country, then he needs to avoid the edges of the roads,(they are generally pot holed or
have gravel on them,as do a lot of sharp corners).
Bike riding can be fun if you follow the basic rules and you keep an eye on what's going on around you.
