Kopenhagen, I wanted a Vespa. Seriously. Hubby said NO they are the worst things on the road for getting squished as they have the low visibility factor and low speed. Look good though. For girls in sleek classic clothing and stilettos like in Rome 🙂

I was riding a motorcycle before I started driving a car. Had my moped license at 14, driver's at 16 and motorcycle endorsment to that a month later. Even before that I was riding dirt bikes on hills and trails so it it wasn't much of a jump for me. Bikes do seem to get the speed faster than most cars, though I've seen cars that come close. On a bike, you want to take off and go through the gears, least I do and when I finish off the gears even not trying to go fast, I look down at the speedo and find I'm going way too fast without realizing it.
You need more concentration with a bike, it's not only the speed, a bike don't have the stability of a car, a tiny rock or anything that takes away balance can be desasterious.
I found that you can't deliver pizzas on a bike, leaning into the turn (something you have to do) causes all the toppings too slide off. Riding in the rain feels like needles going through you, and in cold weather is hard. Even in good sunny weather, you have to think about sunburn and windburn, bugs splating onyour face feels like being hit with rocks.
LOL haha, I didn't need a parking permit at school, High school, just put it up by the greenhouse building (76 Honda cb550) and nobody said too much other thsn "nice bike"
