Let's hope that an ambulance is put on standby outside their motel room on the night of their wedding.

Let's wish them health and happiness.

Now old Jerry has a quid or two in her own right, but regarding bank balances, Rupert the Bear is way out of sight, in fact he's in another time zone. If I was a sceptic I'd say she was looking to feather her already well lined nest even further, but I'm not so I won't.
All together now.....

I was driving along and a huge bug came out of nowhere and went Splatto! on the windscreen.
I said to myself "That's just like the news that Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall are engaged, I didn't see that one coming".
As long as they're happy, that's all that matters.

Why should a mature woman not find happiness with a suitable partner?
Jerry does not need the money, but the security and stability of a good relationship. At her age the age gap is of no consequence, different if she was 25 and looking to feather her nest.
No matter how rich or how old you are, loneliness is not easy to live with. One can be in the middle of a crowd and feel lonely because there is nobody that cares to share special moments with.
I am sure she and Rupert have a lot in commn and share similar tastes. And she looks terrific for her age, not the Edelstens bimbo bride.
I wish them both lots of joy and happiness.
