A patient in northern China has died of the plague in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region - the second death from the disease in the last week.
The victim died from multiple organ failure in a case of the bubonic plague on Friday, the Bayannao'er city health commission said on its website.
This comes after China's Inner Mongolia region saw another death from the plague in Baotou last week, leading the city to issue level-three epidemic warnings.
Following Friday's death in Bayannao'er, or Bayannur, the area where the deceased lived has been sealed off, the commission confirmed.
What!?
COVID not killing us off fast enough?

Maralinga springs to mind.
Both British & Australian Governments responsible for unleashing radiation on their own service men and Indigenous people.
Robert Menzies agreed to the tests without first taking it to the cabinet.
Prof David Lowe, Deakin Uni had said the cavalier attitude towards Australia's Indigenous populations was appalling and you'd have to say to some extent that extended towards both British and Australian service people. You can't help but wonder the extent to which there was a deliberate interest in the medical results of radioactive materials entering the body and much of what went on is still classified and may never be made public.

Britain of the past always had a "cavalier attitude" to it's colonial subjects. "Subjects" being the operative word.

Yes they certainly did. And to use human beings in the fashion that they did amounts to crime of pure evil. The PM of the day who allowed this to happen is gully of treason. He's admired immensely by another PM who has the same kind of eyebrows.

According to Section 98 of the Commonwealth Defence Act 1903, no member of the Defence Force shall be sentenced to death by any court martial except for four offences:

John Monash commanded a division, and later a Corps, of mainly ANZAC troops, and put paid to the idea that Pommie generals had any idea of how 20th (and even 19th) century warfare should be conducted.

For the Angel of Death spread his wings on the blast,
And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed;
And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!
And the widows of Ashur are loud in their wail,
And the idols are broke in the temple of Baal;
And the might of the Gentile, unsmote by the sword,
Hath melted like snow in the glance of the Lord!

They see us as cattle, to be used as " beasts of the field", in biblical terms.
