Home and Away.
How many recycled storyline can you name?
- who is the real father?
- who will die?
- who is the stalker?
- who sleeps with who this night?
- is Vinny really dead?
(and I only get these from the commercials)

But they have annoying ads for the shows all the time - and all the build up to a "new" show for weeks and weeks before it is even broadcasted (Survivor, SAS, Masterchef etc etc...
Even if you don't watch the show, you can still be plenty annoyed by them

I never watch live 'free to air', so never see any ads.
Any annoying 'in house' ads I see on catch up shows, I can fast forward anyway.

Haha, I even get annoyed in fast forward! More annoyed really 'cos my remote control is not very responsive and I end up missing the start of the show then having to rewind back into the ad and try again. I've tried buying a new remote but that only lasted a few months. Might have to get a new TV (have they invented an ad free one yet?)

I hear putting new batteries in the remote, works >>>>>>>>>>>>

I haven't watched much TV in ages (except for snippets of weather/news at times) but what used to annoy me was when the networks keep switching the times around for any series. It seems to happen with regularity.
You'll be watching something that is on twice a week, say, Monday and Thursday then one day you'll tune in on Thursday and suddenly it isn't there.
I also absolutely hate the ads that promote a new show or series without telling you what date and time it is starting. 'Coming in April' doesn't cut it for me.😠

In the past I have sometimes used catch-up TV online and usually Adblock did the trick, but I think that now it is detected and... blocked ("there is a problem playing this video", something like that, but if you use a browser without Adblock it works). (The ads are not the same as on TV though.)
