It happens every year - without fail - unless cancelled ( the Sheriff of Nottingham did it ) ( Men in Tights ).
I would like - for Christmas - everyone here - to have a surprise.
A Very Happy Surprise.
( We can have a future challenge - 2016 - whose was the best surprise. )

The greatest gift for me would be if it would snow, all day, on December 25th, in Tasmania ...

Kilrust was a chinnie here yonks ago and did a CW secret santa. I never went in that but she still conducts one amongst her family and facebook friends.
We all give a short description on what we like and what we don't, give Kilrust our name and address, then she throws them all in a hate and matches two randomly drawn names. She will then send a persons name and address and what their likes/dislikes are.
Half the fun is trying to guess who your Santa was. One year I bought a number of things from ebay around the country and the kind sellers gift wrapped and posted directly to my recipient, so she had no idea who or even where her Secret Santa was

A Lottery win would be nice. Well better than socks, scarves, underwear, and an Old Spice Gift Set.

Minus the Old Spice at least all that is useful (unless horrendous in terms of personal taste)
I've had a think. I would rather get nothing than something that someone actually knows that I would hate, but they want me to have, for their benefit. Let's call that a selfish present.
It's a moot point as I know I won't be getting anything for Christmas.

I know what you mean Amber.....not likely to be any gifts appearing here on Christmas Day but I would rather like to hear the words "Merry Christmas".
