Brilliant sunshine here thank goodness as it is the Boat Show for the next four days, but when it rains as it has done for the last 3 years, the tourists tend to stay away and don't spend as much money in the restaurants and other surrounding businesses which means that instead of the casual workers getting between 60 and 70 hours work in just 4 days, they might get as little as 😎

So perfectly happy for it to rain as much as it likes next Monday, but hoping real hard that the sunshine holds out until then.

We had rain here all day yesterday, today is bright and sunny, thank goodness, but cold.

I don't mind the rain for an occasional day here and there, but it makes me very lazy and lethargic if it rains for days on end. I am a summer girl and hate the cold and wet. It is supposed to be a very wet winter 😞

Cold, windy, rainy,nasty, weather.. even a hot bowl of soup doesn't make up for that, if you have to be out and about in it.

I have to go to Sydney tomorrow and walk to where I am going from the train... supposed to be rainy then too.
