What are some alternatives to a room divider?

I was thinking you could used  a wheeled garment racks that cost about $12 from large department store. Put a large sheet over it. If you are trying to trap air conditioner air into a part of a room.

The room dividers can be expensive. $30,$40 or $50. Also I would think they could fall over more easily.

you could round up a number of friends and stand them in a line with arms linked and then bore them stiff.

When that has been accomplished paint them the colour of your choice.

That would become a feature and a good topic for conversation ๐Ÿ™‚

they would have gaps though. air would flow between them. . but they could hold up a frame with heavy fabric attached that seals against the ceiling (fridge seal attached to the top) allow enough when measuring the fabric (which i recommend be lined with a wind-resistant backing) so there is enough to reach the floor from the ceiling , then add an extra eight inches or so in order to place another beam on the fabric where it meets the floor. then it's simply a matter of gaffer taping the sides to the walls (use good tape so you can reseal it in orfer to leave from time to time for toilet trips or drinks)
