What are some alternatives to a room divider?

I was thinking you could used  a wheeled garment racks that cost about $12 from large department store. Put a large sheet over it. If you are trying to trap air conditioner air into a part of a room.

The room dividers can be expensive. $30,$40 or $50. Also I would think they could fall over more easily.

If they can build a 4 story building from them a room divider should be a piece of cake  😄
