What are your Internet needs and wants? (BTW - this is not a survey)

Mine are fairly extensive:

We have fast, unlimited wireless that we pay a bomb for to run 4 computers plus numerous connected devices. Mobiles, Iphones, bluetooth etc.

Both adults connect to our offices in the city so we can work from home. In my case I transfer huge files between home and work. Both kids connect to school via their portals. All our music is downloaded. All our movies and TV shows are downloaded. We are all on social networks. The kids play connected internet games. All our bills are paid on line. Increasingly, our shopping is done on line and will soon get to a point where all of it will be.

Etc.

Could I survive on a slow internet connection? Not on your life.

Is it true that television may fall by the wayside when and if Labor completes their plan, and that is why the LNP doesn't want it? Less money for the you know who!

Interestingly our TV died about 6 weeks ago and we are debating whether we need to get another one.

We've done nothing but download movies and shows since.

The only thing that's been a pain is that I have to go to my mums house at 7.30 a couple of times a week to watch MKR...

Sunrise streams live, as does ABC News 24.

If you go to the Motion Picture Association of America website, they have a good list of legal movies you can download. Just check that you can watch them on TV rather than just streaming to a PC.

But we tend to download all our music from itunes. I refuse to download movies and shows cause I can't watch them on TV without buying extras.

You can download quite a bit for free Soundcloud and Bitsnoop do quite a bit for free. And there are a lot of 'classic' free movie sites around. You just need to make sure they are legal.
