Joz, do you read that post of yours ? Is that your own comment ?

Joe the cases you've highlighted in your post #224 are clear and concise cases of abuse by an adult in a authority position with the child, this supports the point Iza is making. There are cases where this happens.
I have issue with it if it's grooming - that is then defined as abuse, if it's innocent then no harm no foul. Only the parent of the 15 yearold in question can make that assessment and act accordingly whatever the situation maybe.
However with regards to the situation the OP has put out nobody knows what was in the text and it could be completely benign, they could be part of a mixed indoor cricket team etc for all we know and it could've fallen upon them to let the 15 yearold know of a meetup etc (though I don't think so but you get my drift).
As a female I don't understand either the attraction of a 21 yearold perhaps in the romantic sense to a 15 yearold but then we can't help sometimes who we are attracted to.
I can't argue to much on this subject basically because when I was 17 (still legally a child) I was having sleeping with a 26 yearold (legally an adult), it was a 'convenience' thing not a relationship.

Why not turn the tables....would it seem questionable if a 21y.o. boy were dating a 15 y.o. girl? No Doubt from a parents' perspective, there would be hell to pay.
I can't see why it would be any different in reverse.
I'd be suspicious if my 15y.o. son were going out with someone 21....why would she need to 'groom a child' so to speak? I'm sure many parents would see it that way and make enquiries to that end, particularly in this bubble wrap era.
I agree with Ivy, it's an individual parental decision, but it wouldn't take Einstein to figure out how most parents would react.

I think the OP may be concerned if the 15 year old was hers...going only from what I've seen posted in the past of course
