I gave my lovely Kiwi boyfriend a Leatherman multi-tool thing. He seemed to like it? I don't think he was expecting it at all. He said he was going to take it to work to show the boys tomorrow!
I was stunned at what he gave me. He must have spent a fortune! ๐ฎ
2 dozen long stem roses - half red and half white!!!
AND
A bag that contained some adult toys - one that had a $99.95 price sticker on it!!!
OMG! We didn't end up going to dinner cause I said lets stay in and I'll cook for him (he was tired after work) and I felt like I didn't want him to take me to dinner when he'd clearly spent so much money already!!
arrghhh I feel like I should have gotten a better present!

Sounds good aspies*mum.
Woolies had 6 red roses (buds) in cellophane for $25 today. They didn't even look nice. A few males were buying them though.

Classy leaving the price on.
Well I suppose giving your new GF a bag of adult toys doesn't exactly spell out sophistication does it? So what the heck, may as well leave the price on lol!

I have a huge bag of adult toys and the one with the price tag on was something we had discussed was missing from my "tool bag". :-x We have a very ramped up love life, so given how we roll, it was an appropriate present. The flowers were sweet and the other stuff sexy.
But he could have removed the price stickers, but he's a BOY. Boys can be oblivious to that. I just love that he got me flowers. Red and white! I adore flowers!

My kids took me to Caffe Primo for lunch today. I loved it!

That's gorgeous terracottacar! You are so lucky to have such thoughtful kids!
My daughter gave our cards to her teachers, family members and friends that were all Doctor Who themed. Unless you've seen the rebooted series, they make no sense! But it was gorgeous. And she hates writing so it was a good way to encourage her to practise her writing!
So my brothers, SIL, parents etc. all gave her cards back (and encouraged her to try reading).
