Out of curiosity Eve, does Easter have a religious meaning to you? If so, what?
Bob, seriously? I'm a practicing Catholic. I thought you knew that...
I'm off to bed. Have a good Easter ๐

How would I know?? There're so many caffeteria Christians/Catholics out there, you never know what you're gonna get?
How do you view Jesus, from your perspective (in relation to the resurrection)?

Easter is the northern hemisphere festival of fertility, coinciding with the first full moon after the equinox.
It's a traditional(pagan thing) festival, pinched by the christians, to try to streamline the conversion to christianity.
In the southern hemisphere, we should be celebrating the autumn festival(mabon) or Harvest festival(halloween).

It was clever how the church turned many of the pagan celebrations in to their own. If you can't beat them join them.
The rabbit and eggs certainly have more relevance to the pagan festival rather than the christian one
