I just heard Christopher Pyne say our economy is in crisis, I just wondered if the meaning of the word had changed without me realizing?

As far as I am concerned that is not new news to me, I have believed we have been in trouble for a long time and been surviving on spin and debt in the hope some magical fix will come along.

I believe we will be going into a recession sooner or latter and the longer it takes the worse it will be. 

After all we are now part of a global economy and we cant hide forever from what the rest of the world has gone through

Did you hear about the AAA credit rating Australia recently acquired for the first time?

Can't be that big a crisis.

How/why did we get the AAA rating if it's all so bad?

Why do economists keep repeating how well Australia is managing, if they're not?
