What happened to Jesus after he rose from the dead?

Such a charismatic leader with so many disciples ready to tell his story and follow his teachings. And then the great miracle occurs where he rises from the dead and all that.

But then what?

Where did he go? Who did he lead? How did he die?

Well that makes no sense if he was suddenly alive? Why is he dead again and in heaven?

He has eternal life, He is not dead.

He is with His Father, in Heaven, where the Christian religion tells us we will all go if we are good and live as Christ wants us to live.

That's what they reckon, anyway.

How could he go to heaven if he was risen from the dead? He was alive when he came out of the cave wasn't he? Isn't that why it was so miraculous?

Did he die again? Or did he not rise from the dead afterall? Or is 'risen' some metaphor for something else?

Perhaps someone who is more religious than I can explain what I thought were simple questions? Surely the questions don't require attendance at a Bible class?

I HAVE read as much of the Bible as possible and I can't recall mention of his life beyond the resurrection except in ethereal terms.

I am not asking to be difficult. I am asking because I genuinely do not understand what happened to Jesus the man once he came back from the dead so I figured someone (religious) on here should be able to give me a straight answer.
