What is it that drives a person to defend someone like

Tony Abbott

They worship him and his 3 word slogans... have no idea about corporatate tax avoidance, or any other major flaws in this Govt's policies/actions but can repeat from memory -  stop the boats, axe the tax (carbon) and eliminate debt.

They also lap up diatribes from Pickering and Bolt articles... although they are starting to 'turn' on Abbott now.. so I don't know who they will follow now.

Personally, I don't like what I see happening and haven't for quite some time.

I know Mr Abbott doesn't get to make up those silly ideas alone................... nor does he get to put them into practice without his party, so what needs to be considered is, why is he getting the blame and needs defending?

Abbott rightly deserves all the blame.

In my opinion firstly, because he is the one that wanted all the responsibility as leader and secondly, because he has proven to be completely incompetent and untrustworthy-due to his rampant and unwavering insistence to continually lie.

Who has said recently (a political reviewer?) that he is behaving just as Rudd did, in that he wants it to be "his way or the highway", not delegating as much as he should, and is alienating many of his front and backbenchers in the same way that Rudd did.
