you still use on a regular basis. Home or work.Mine is a 1940's radio I use every day. The sound quality is superior, only problem is I can't get all stations.

I have an engagement ring that belonged to my husband's grandmother. She's deceased now of course, but she was engaged in 1946. At the time there was only a choice of two rings because of the war and rationing that was still going on. It's really lovely and is sentimentally valuable.

I have my grandma's and my nanna's engagement rings. I don't know when they were married, but I know my grandma was married before 1922 and my nan before 1932. But I don't use them, they are in the safe. I wore them at my wedding and at their respective funerals all in 1993.

I didn't know my nan so well, but I had a lot to do with my grandma and I adored her, so yeah, her things are pretty special to me. I have a few of her things just things that no one else wanted when she left, but over the years people have offered to buy some of them, but I just couldn't sell them, no matter what.
I also have this little china sugar bowl thing that was my mother's great grandmothers, but I never knew her, so it has no significance to me, I don't even know how I ended up with it, but it's there in my china cabinet and my mother told me where it came from.
