Different for everyone I'd say according to your finances but what is something that when you buy or do you feel as you are treating yourself?

Fresh salmon, love it but usually can't buy it... and a strange addiction to the raw stalks of broccoli. It's a luxury because I sometimes buy it just to eat the stalks and chuck the rest away lol.

Expensive anti-wrinkle cream ๐ the jar I am using atm was $140
I am a sucker for all them, and I have yet to find one that lives up to the advertising. Isn't there laws against that?

I have two weaknesses. Laphroaig single malt whiskey and Buche d'Affinois cheese. The single malt I only buy once in a blue moon - Mr Elephant doesn't like it so it lasts me a looooong time - but the Buche d'Affinois is my weekly splurge at our local Farmers' Market. It costs about $89.00 a kilo, but I only buy about 150gms to last me the week. Fortunately Mr Elephant doesn't like 'smelly' cheese either. He prefers Mersey Valley Ploughman's -which is a LOT cheaper.

She-ele, your cheese reminds me of another luxury food... English Stilton. I used to have a friend who'd send a whole Stilton and bottle of good port (was it port or something similar)... it was to drizzle into the Stilton and it'd last for ages... Soooooo yum! Haven't had it for years, not sure if you can buy it in Australia in that big round block. Drool!
