Mine is people not being punctual.  I can handle 5-10 minutes but later than that starts to really get my blood boiling.  Why do some people think its not important to keep to a set time?  Im seriously interested, if you are one of those people wha are your reasons and do you think its rude to the other person?

500 Kudos for your 4WD post. It just seems that the sort of people who buy big black 4WD's with big wheels are the sort of people who believe the whole world revolves around them. The bigger the black 4wd. is, the bigger tool  behind the wheel. Suprisingly its not the P plate lads who go off road in hotted up 4WD's that are the problem, its the yummy mummies and arrogant middle aged men that seem the problem

Internet/Forum TROLLS. Those who know everything about things they have never experienced or done. Those who see the need to put others down in order to feel better about themselves.

We live in a tourist area and we get a lot of 4WD's with Caravans,Jet Ski's or Camper trailers up here as well

as a number of people in their 30's and 40's who have 4WD's just because they can?

Farmers and tradies tend to behave in a much better manner and will be more courteous then these

"rubber neckers" that seem to come up/down from city areas,(they have no regard for other road users and

seem to always be in a hurry),stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

SNAP....... I live in a popular peri urban tourist spot and have exactly the same problem.

Most of the farmers dont drive polished up BIG BLACK 4wd's with big polished mags and low profile tyres. Those low profile tyres wouldnt last 5 seconds off the road, and would give too harsh a ride on the bumpy country roads, so it is obvious the 4WD tanks never leave the shopping centre carparks and  bitumen.

They are a completely different thing to the genuine country people who have to drive on slippery unsealed roads or tow horse floats around.

I,m not a real fan of it either. Its just a question of practicality. The missus is blind, so living in a larger town / rural city means she has access to taxis and services close by. She can walk with her guide dog to the school , gym, shops & health services etc. She can even get herself onto the bus service to the city if she wants to. The town is small enough that the taxi drivers and bus drivers all know her and look out for her.

If it was up to me I would build on our near city farm. It is very attractive country with creeks, large trees and gentle hills and overlooks a smaller country community around 1 km. away. It is also only 1 km. from a major highway and 20 minutes drive from the city which can be handy.

The only consolation to living in a major tourist town is our house is situated on the end of a block with only one direct neighbour. It has a road directly behind and overlooks a river reserve. When the kids where younger they used to swim with their friends in the river and had seasons tickets to a family adventure park a few hundred metres up from our house. They would spend half the school holidays on the water slides and paddle boats. I must admit it does have some advantages.
