How old are the children ?

Aren't we talking about say, 45 year olds upwards with a man quite a lot less ?

The children are 9 and 10...she is 45 he is 30...they have been married since he was 19 and she was 34.

The age difference doesn't bother me but I think 19 is a bit young to be getting married especially males who take a bit longer to mature.

Must have worked well enough though, they've been married 11 years going by that.

I think it all depends on the person...my parents were both only 19 when they married and they were married for 63 years when they both passed away last year.

You're quite right of course, you can still be immature at any age.

63 years is a wonderful testament to the people  your parents were.

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.

My hubby is 15 months younger than me

Join the club, Stawka.

My husband is 12 month younger than I. Oh, and three days, he keeps reminding me.

So for three days every year he is two years younger when he has to state his age on some paper.

I think you've got a bloody hide posting my picture in there, Stawks! I see it as a personal attack and I've told the Mods about it! I think you owe me an apology! A simple "I'm sorry, Icy" will suffice.

You too, Helen.

You and a few others tore me to bits when I first came here.  But I overcame.

Yeah? like me and who else? And in what way were you torn to bits? I rarely even engage with you!

But,  I'm sorry that you're upset over it

Yes I was upset with it, and thank you for your apology!
